What We Do

Using the most accurate GPS data we can get our hands on, we create highly detailed, three dimensional topographical maps by employing 3D printing technology and mold making processes. Our projects have been commissioned by museums, visitor centers, and by Search and Rescue teams. We have a passion for maps and the outdoors and we aim to make the landscape more readable. Not only are our maps incredible and accurate, but they are also works of art.

No matter how you use maps, upgrading to a 3D model will provide a better understanding and experience.

The world isn't flat.  Maps shouldn’t be either.

Our Story

Meet Eric. An entrepreneur and avid outdoorsman. A side effect of his passion for the outdoors means that Eric is a total map junkie. One day while mountain biking through the Bear River Mountain Range located in northern Utah, Eric reached a confusing part of his ride. What he thought was flat was actually incredibly steep. This led to frustration with his map and the traditional topographical depiction. He wanted a map that would help him understand the landscape better.

Now meet Brad. Over many road trips he took with his family growing up, he loved looking at the maps and seeing how the world was connected. While studying Landscape Architecture at Utah State University, Brad takes an entrepreneurship course taught by Eric. One day after class, they get to discussing the idea of three dimensional maps. With Brad’s software mapping capabilities and Eric’s 3D printer, they create their first map and decide to start a company producing affordable 3D maps, and Creotre was born.

Since 2015, Eric and Brad have worked together to create beautiful, accurate, and detailed maps for their customers.

We want people to bring landscape into their homes and offices. We want museums to have the latest and most detailed model maps for their visitors.
